Dr. Tamura received his master’s in science degree in biology from California State University, Fullerton and graduated from St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada. He completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at the Roger Williams Medical Center at Boston University School of Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts. He served his fellowship in internal medicine at Tufts-New England Medical Center in Boston and completed an additional fellowship in hematology-oncology at Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein School of Medicine in Bronx, New York. He is involved in many cancer research studies and has published several publications. Dr. Tamura is Board Certified in internal medicine, oncology and hematology.
