Important Message Regarding COVID-19


TO ALL PATIENTS AND VISITORS

Hawaii Cancer Care will continue to require all persons entering our clinics to wear medical-grade face masks for the protection of our patients who, due to their disease or treatments, may have vulnerabilities that require added protection.

Patients and visitors who arrive at our facilities without a mask or arrive wearing a mask with a valve or a single-layer gaiter, will be provided a medical grade mask to wear during the duration of their visit. Masks are to be worn properly over the nose and mouth, at all times while on the premises, even when patients are in a room on their own.

Our staff continues to clean and disinfect our facilities frequently, including equipment, exam rooms, and other patient care areas. Hand sanitizer is also readily available.

All of our health care personnel have the necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) that is appropriate for the level of care they provide.

BEFORE ARRIVING…

COVID and other Infections are a common complication of cancer and cancer treatment.

If you are running a fever of 100.4F or above, coughing, or have other flu-like symptoms, please contact your medical clinic location listed below before you arrive.

If you or someone in your home has been diagnosed with the COVID-19 virus, or have had close contact with anyone with the virus, please contact us to see if you are able to have a telemedicine visit before you arrive.

No children ages 14 or less is allowed in our clinic.

If you require assistance, there can be no more than 2 family members or caregivers present with you in our clinic.

Family, friends, and caregivers are NOT allowed to sit in our waiting room or infusion room, during your treatment.

We encourage you to have an individual drop you off and pick you up from your appointments. You are visiting our health clinic for an appointment which is a medical necessity. Please help us to keep you and our staff safe by minimizing social contact during this health outbreak of the COVID-19 virus.
